“‘trees for the woods’ is all about hindsight. it’s like damnnn i trusted you bruh!! i wish i knew what kind of person you were cus i would’ve never let you near me. honestly the song is so literal bar for bar”
This follows the highly successful release of ‘when all is said and done’ which came out last year. What’s changed the most for you since your debut album dropped?
“I’m working a lot on making happiness a longer lasting emotion. i’m at a very monotone stage rn but that still feels better than crying every day lol”

“no, it’s amazing lol no skips 10/10”

The notion of “feeling like a broken record” – as you wrote on IG – because of sharing your feelings is one I’m sure a lot of people can relate to. We can feel like a burden for just being honest about how why genuinely feel. Why was it important to you that this album was an honest depiction of how you’re feeling, even if it’s hard to say sometimes?
“I think people can see through dishonesty. it’s so boring and inauthentic.”
I know you recently went on tour. What’s your favourite thing about performing live?
“validation”
You’re also playing at a few festivals this summer. Do you have a personal favourite festival experience/memory from a time you either performed at or attended a festival?
“watching tyler the creator at wireless in 2022. he’s one of the first artists i ever saw live with such a creative stage design. the way his visual identity carries through every facet of his career is rlly rlly cool”

Who’s an artist you would love to hop on a track?
“lil yachty would be lit”
As an emerging artist, what do you feel still needs to change about the music industry today?
“not really a hot take but songwriters should be appreciated more and paid more”
Lastly, what else is on your bucket list for 2026?
“I wanna learn how to snowboard. me n my friends are taking lessons lol”
