Music artist Andrea Valle just entered her healing era, and she’d love you to join her. With her new track “Passionate” and accompanying music video having just dropped, we linked up with Andrea to find out what she’s all about rn.
Andrea’s become known for her mantra – and the title of her viral single – “badder not sadder,” and while she’s still standing by that mentality, she’s got a new motto: “go where the love is.” Her new track, “Passionate” channels feelings of self-love, confidence, and empowerment into a single that Andrea says is both an anthem designed to be “played in sweaty clubs” and also “a healing dance record.”
Keep reading to find out Andrea’s thoughts on lust vs. love, the music industry, defining her style, and more.
Your new track “Passionate” just dropped. Can you tell us about the inspiration/story behind it?
““Passionate” is about choosing love, but not in a desperate way. It’s about going where the love is reciprocated and leaving situations that feel lustful. I wrote it during a phase where I realized I’d rather walk alone than stay somewhere I feel unseen or used. It’s soft, but it’s strong with boundaries.”
How do you want your fans to feel when they listen to the new track?
“Liberated. Sensual. Empowered. I want it to feel like that moment when you finally detach and instead of dwelling, you feel lighter. It’s a healing dance record. Go be with your girls and dance!”
What location/situation do you imagine “Passionate” being played in the most?
“I imagine “Passionate” being played in sweaty clubs. A mixy after-hours. The hazy drive home at 3:00am. The bedroom with mood lights on and your phone on DND ignoring that man’s “wya?” text.”

If you had to describe the era you’re currently in musically in three words, what would they be?
“Magnetic, unbothered, electric.”
Can you name someone in the music industry you’d love to hop on a track with?
“I’d love to hop on a track with Kaytranada. He understands rhythm in a way that feels spiritual. I think we’d make something hypnotic and raw. He’s collaborated with many of my favorite artists.”
I love your personal style – can you tell me where you get your inspiration from?
“Thank you! I honestly mix softness with edge. I’m inspired by 90s minimalism, soft grunge textures, feminine and androgynous silhouettes, and that mysterious model-off-duty energy.”
Are there any brands or designers you’re really drawn to right now?
“I love Clara Colette Miramon and Gayle — they both balance structure and femininity in a sharp way that catches my eye. I also love Ai Mei Li, she understands color theory and plays with shapes that is so fun to see! I will be adding her pieces to my summer wardrobe.”

Your makeup is also always really stunning. What’s the inspiration behind the glam in your current era?
“Why thank you! I’m absolutely in love with the cool girl makeup right now, muted cool toned eyeshadows with a mean lip combo! I graduated from YouTube university years ago so I feel like my makeup routine is very secure but I’ve been experimenting with the Pinterest saves. Makeupbychelseax and Sophia Sinot are my favorites to pull inspiration from.”
Finish the sentence: “I feel the most myself when I’m…”
“…alone, creating something that feels too honest to explain.”
Last year, your mantra (and the name of your single) was “badder not sadder.” What’s a motto you’re living by right now, though?
““Go where the love is.” If it’s not mutual, it’s not for me! I have “Love in Abundance” tattooed on my hand for a reason lol.”

What do you think music needs more of?
“Risk. Less algorithm, more emotion and vulnerability.”
Lastly, what are you most excited for in 2026?
“What I’m most excited for in 2026 is expansion, performing more, collaborating with producers who challenge me and stepping into a bigger and better version of myself. I turn 30 this year and I honestly feel like I’m just getting started!”
